Meeting Planning Policy

The South Carolina Chapter of ACDIS in-person meetings are rotated around the state of South Carolina to insure geographically distant members have the opportunity to attend a meeting. This is subject to availability and size of venue.

Meeting locations are sought at member facility’s to minimize expenses associated with chapter meetings. The space must accommodate a minimum of 50 participants.

The Conference Planner check list (see attachment A) is used to facilitate planning each meeting. The SCACDIS President is responsible for completing/maintaining said checklist.

Application for continuing education (CEU’s) credit will be submitted by the SCACDIS Secretary to ACDIS 30 days prior to the scheduled meeting date.

SCACDIS will provide door prizes for meeting participants.

A twenty five dollar gift card will be given to each speaker in appreciation for presenting at our local chapter meetings. The gift will be accompanied by a handwritten thank you letter from the SCACDIS President, expressing our appreciation for their commitment to the ongoing education of our chapter members.

All registration fees for chapter meetings will be final sale and not subject to refunds, transfer between persons, or transfer to a later meeting.
